INTRODUCING

THE 8 WEEK CHALLENGE

An 8 week Group Personal Training package covering all your weekly workouts, tailored nutrition for your specific goals with the chance to win some unreal prizes, all within the most amazing community of women!

HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS:

We have 3 main group PT sessions per week

These take place at JD gym and are Upper body, Lower body and Conditioning (weighted circuit, battle ropes, sled, ski urg etc)

There are 3 sessions on each of the main group days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 6am 7am and 630pm.

There are also additional bonus classes included in the challenge you can attend each week too!

Come to as many Bootycamps per week as you want during the challenge.

Plus every Saturday at 10am we have an outside team activity: either a quick 25 minute team sprint session or a big group walk.

It all goes down in the group chat - the hub & heart of the challenge!

This is where we track our daily habits, make our commitments for the week and share our wins, recipes and journey with the rest of the challengers.

We don't just talk fitness, its a place where you can feel at home during the challenge!

We end the challenge with a team bottomless brunch & announce the prize winners!

We've worked so hard it's only right we go out to celebrate our wins, transformations and new found friendships and its the perfect time for me to give out the challenge prizes too!

Group Personal Training Schedules

EVERYTHING THAT'S INCLUDED IN THE 8WC:

* you don't have to attend it all, but its all included if you want it!!

  • 24 Small Group Personal Training Sessions
    Upper Body on Tuesdays, Lower Body on Wednesdays & Conditioning (Circuit with weights) on Thursdays - 3 sessions available per day at either 6am, 7am or 630pm. These sessions take place at JD Gym.
  • Unlimited Bootycamp classes
    My Signature class Bootycamp is a legs & booty circuit class designed to build your glutes and burn fat at the same time. Bootycamp is on Sundays at 10am and Mondays at 7pm. This class takes place in a private gym in Bletchley.
  • Outdoor Team Saturday Session
    On Saturdays at 10am we get outside with all groups involved and either go for a long team walk in lovely locations around MK or do a quick 25 minute hill sprints session. These alternate each week. Kids & Dogs welcome to the team walks!
  • Tailored Meal Plan & Macros
    Goes without saying that nutritional guidance will be given! Whether your goal is fat loss, weight gain or body recomposition (a bit of both!) I work on meal plans that are easy to follow and minimal hassle.
  • Workout App & Habit Tracking
    I provide you with an app to track your workouts that you will be able to continue using post challenge, making it easier for you to step into a good routine and rhythm once the challenge is over. We also track daily habits in the group chat, as these are just as important as our nutrition and training.
  • The Most Amazing Community Ever
    I have to say, I attract the most unreal women ever! The challenge would not be complete without our group Whatsapp chat which is so active (my phone is literally buzzing with challenge notifications now!) From sharing our wins, to recipes, to meal inspo to just supporting eachother daily. The chat is the heart of the challenge and where you'll build relationships with your new fitnesspals outside the sessions

    Although you will speak to me everyday during the challenge (and see me most days too!) I still check in with challengers once every 2 weeks one to one to make sure you are feeling good, on track or need any additional support. Your beginning, middle & end measurements are also done for you.

I'm Lauren

The creator of The 8 Week Challenge - your coach and biggest cheerleader for the duration of the Challenge! I am totally dedicated to the health & happiness of each and every challenger throughout your challenge journey and beyond!

I began Personal Training 10 years ago after spending my early 20's struggling to manage my own weight (see top 2 pictures on the left for before and afters!) and  yo-yo dieting for years (I have tried every diet under the sun!). I struggled with confidence in the gym, sometimes going at 3AM just to try new things alone (crazy I know!).

Over them years of trial and error with my own body, I became obsessed with learning about training womens bodies and consider myself to be an expert in Female Body Composition Coaching, I only work with women and I only work with women looking to transform their shape. My own personal journey means I can relate to and understand all my clients at any stage of their body transformation journey.

Don't worry i'm not army sergeant type trainer, I'm more like your bestie, here to encourage you, push you and show you the ropes, whilst we have some fun at the same time!

I started out with solely 121 Coaching for my first 5/6 years as a coach and then slowly transitioned into group coaching when i saw the huge benefits to clients and myself too, then it became The 8 Week Challenge which has been running for the past 2 years and I'm so proud of it!

What is the aim of the challenge?

  • To teach you to lift for your specific goals
  • To teach you good and proper form
  • To teach you how to know how much to lift

  • To teach you how to eat for your goals
  • To teach you the mindset to keep going long term

As well as of course within the 8 weeks getting you the most amazing before and after transformation that WOW's you and gives you so much confidence in what you can achieve leaving you feeling so confident in the body that you have just built and most importantly you know how to maintain

What goals is the challenge suitable for?

  • Women aiming to lose fat or muild muscle
  • Women who want to change their body shape
  • Women who feel ‘skinny fat’ and want to tone up
  • Women who want to build confidence in the gym and learn to use the equipment

What happens after the 8 weeks is over?

You have the choice to either take your new found skills and continue on training by yourself or with new friends you have made in the challenge or you can continue into another challenge, it's totally up to you! The challenge is set up so that you should feel confident to use your app and keep going with the workouts you have in there but if you want to learn new movements and continue in the challenge for the structure and guidance you are welcome to book on again as many times as you like. You always receive £100 when rebooking!

I've never been to the gym before, can I still join?

Yes of course! You can join at any ability level! We have mixed groups and this works very well! The challenge will have you ready to step into the gym by yourself by the end of the 8 weeks.

What abilities is the challenge suitable for?

The challenge will work for you whether you are a beginner, you have some experience lifting and want to improve your confidence/technique or you are a confident lifter and just need some structure and routine. I am there to coach you at whatever level you come in at.

Even in a group of mixed abilities, you will be working on improving on your own lifts and strength week by week, so the other girls around you are just your support system and motivation, what they are lifting doesn’t impact you, in-fact I find mixed ability groups tend to push each other outside comfort zones more!

Where are the sessions located?

The Group PT sessions are located at JD Gym, Winterhill (you would need a membership for here).

Hike locations vary, but will be in and around Milton Keynes.

Sprints are always located at Willen Peace Pagoda

Bootycamp is located at Safari MMA, a private Gym in Bletchley.

I want to do the challenge, but I have something planned in the middle of it!?

If you still really want to join the challenge even if you are away for part of it, please arrange a call and we may be able to amend your pricing to reflect the missed weeks. I only accept people missing no more than 2 weeks of the challenge.

The challenges runs back to back with a week between them, so you may feel it's better to wait and join the next one instead!

Do you offer 121/Private Coaching?

No, I only offer The 8WC. I used to coach 121 for years, but after setting up group coaching, which then over some time developed into The 8 Week Challenge, I realised it was more effective, more fun, more social & most cost effective for clients, whilst allowing me spend more of my time looking after those clients than I had when I used to coach 121 sessions all day. You have the option to see me 5/6 days a week in the challenge which means I really get to know you, whereas the average 121 client will see their coach 2/3 times a week max, and that's an expensive package at that!

You are likely to have more of my time inside and outside of sessions in the challenge than you would have if I coached you 121 as the challenge is my only service, which means coaching you guys and looking after you in the 8 weeks is all I do!

Do you have to always come to the same time group sessions?

In the first 2 weeks, ideally yes - just whilst I am getting to know everyone and we are getting settled into our routine. After this there is more flexibility to switch between group times if needed. However you will still choose your group/time regardless (either 6am, 7am or 6.30pm) and you would belong to that group as your main group.

The benefit is you always work with the same group of girls which means you all motivate each other along the journey! If you are a shift worker and need to float between groups from the start we can discuss this in your consultation call.

Do I have to come to all the sessions, I usually have busy weekends/I have kids!?

No! I don’t expect that anyone will be able to come to every session available, but you can come to as many as you want to. It’s all available to you if you want it, but make it work for you and your schedule :)

Do I have to pay everything before we start?No, there is the option to split your payment. You can pay £50 to reserve your space before we start, then you can either pay the remaining balance the day we start the challenge or you can pay half of the remaining balance on the day we start and the final payment on the same date the following month.

Do I need to be a member of the gym to come to join the challenge?

Yes, you would need to be a member of JD to join the challenge. JD is the biggest and best gym in MK with one of the cheapest prices. It is also a no-contract gym, so you can cancel as soon as the challenge finishes. The gym has a women's only section and a female only sauna too.

You don’t need to be a member to attend the Bootycamp sessions at Safari MMA.

I am already a member at another gym, can I still join?

Yes! You can still join. You will still need to be a member at JD too, but JD is a very cheap membership which you can cancel at any time, with no contract. You may be able to put your current membership on hold until the challenge is over, you would need to speak to your current gym.

If you are in this situation and don’t want to be a member of 2 gyms but still want to join the challenge and this is holding you back, please arrange a call with me and we may be able to arrange a slight discount to account for this.

I’m very anxious of the gym, is it suitable for me and what can I expect?

I promise you that 90% of people who join the challenge feel the exact same way you do! This is not to take your anxiousness from you, but to comfort you in the fact that most people who join you on day one are feeling the exact same way you do! It’s totally normal! Even I feel a little nervous meeting you all on day one too. We are all in the same boat! But I also promise that even from day 2 the nerves do fade and once you're into week 2 those nerves will have vanished! Everyone is so lovely and i'll make every effort to make everyone feel welcomed and at home.


We have a set routine and a system in the challenge that works and is very easy to get used to. You can expect to love the routine it gives you and the confidence we build in repetition over the 8 weeks! The challenge is a fun environment, we have fun while we work hard together. By the end of the challenge my hope is that I will have set you up to feel confident to come in alone and train yourself, so in fact this is probably perfect for you.

What makes 'The 8 Week Challenge' different to normal Group Coaching?

I think to be honest its just got more life than regular monthly rolling group coaching! It really isn't your basic PT - it's community, it's friendship, it's self love!

I am proud of The 8 Week Challenge because its just a vibe! It's amazing energy! It's a container for 8 weeks where we all show up for ourselves, to become the very best version of ourselves. We go all in for 8 weeks! We have set goals and targets for growth each week and the aim by the end is to feel the most confident & happy version of ourselves inside and outside of the gym and at the end we celebrate together to tie it all off.

Then we take a week off, we reset.. and we go again! Of course everyone is welcome to book on again and stay (challengers receive £100 when rebooking for life), at which point we change our exercises but the structure of the challenge stays the same, or you can fly the nest and start training alone or with your new fitness besties - either way, I'm here to support!
